Introduction about me

My name is Seungmin. I'm from Gwangju, which is located at the south-western part of Korea. My family is consist of five members, mom, dad, 2 younger sisters one is . I enjoy listening to music and surf the internet when I have spare time. For my wish to myself is that I want to have confidence when I do things even if it is challenging. I'm satisfied with Milwaukee's collaboration of artificial structures and nature. Milwaukee is a big city that has many large, and big buildings and most of the houses are surrounded by trees unlike my home town, gwangju. The Michigan lake- I heard it is one of the largest fresh water lake in the world- is really beautiful and also very big, that I can easily confused it as sea. Beaches near the lake gives me unusual experience because I never show a beach located near lake so I never expected about fresh water beach. My field of study is Information Studies. Because I just transferred my major from economics to IST, I don't know much about this major but I heard it is related to managing information. I chose this major because I was not sure about my major and IST major allows me to try wide range of subjects because it does not require a lot of major courses. My best class was bowling and chemistry. It was because bowling has comparatively low barrier to play it and I can ease my stress by rolling the ball to the pin and also chemistry was really interested because knowing about substances which composes things around us was really exciting thing. During my high school year, my writing was usually focused on entering universities. I wrote the essay based on given paragraph. Naturally, I was far from enjoy writing. I like to read newspaper, especially about interesting phenomena relating to nature and human society. I read books related to human's conscious and books related to economics and some science book that raise my curiosity towards science.  Know, my thoughts towards writing has totally changed. After graduating the high school I started to think writing as the most effective tool to express my thought thoroughly and accurately. For me, writing is effective medium that connects me with the world by enable me to spread my idea into the world. By biggest concern about college-level writing is that cause I am not native speaker on english, I'm not sure about the usage of words and grammar, structure of context. I need comfortable environment to discuss and ask questions about my concerns related to this kind of issues and also I want to improve my english fluency through group projects and writing essays. I hope I can speak and write english as fluent as ordinary Americans who are eligible to finish college education appropriately. To notify to my classmates, I'm really want to be friends with you guys but I'm really shy, so I hope you guys to approach to me first and become friends with each other.
